OK, I'll play. Last year I bought a Hoyt Powermax. This year I took it to have the string replaced and a tune up back in May. They made me leave it for a week. I live two hours from the shop. Thinking I needed a back up bow because if something happened near or during the season, I would be up S*** creek. I found a new old stock Pro Defiant for about what I paid for the Powermax I love them both and have them set up the same. I can and have used either one..
I like it a lot. Seems like I shoot the little bit longer ATA bows a touch better - I don't fight anchoring and the string angle so bad.... You could probably find a pretty good deal on one in the next month or so with the new bows coming out mid-November.
Mission Hype, but sure wish I could shoot my Matthews mq1 ! Best bow I've ever owned!! Just can't pull 60 lbs anymore.
