    I'm headed to my folks house in Western NC (Asheville area) next week. They counted 18 deer in their field last night and even have a solid 10 showing up in daylight. I seriously considered packing my bow, but considering I live in MO, seemed selfish since the rest of the family are wanting a crack at that 10. I'm hoping my niece can pop one while I'm there.

    Headed out to the stand NEAR the big buck stand. Not a great chance to encounter a big guy, but better than nothing. With the current wind prediction, I won't be back to that stand until Friday. Good luck.

    Out here but discouraged, someone was blasting away just as I was getting out the door. Sound here travels funny. But it sounded like the bedding area nieghbors above me. Where that bucks come from . No sound of human activity ,Gator or tractor so I don't know. Do know no doe hunting allowed there EVER.
    The snow melt has uncover all those tiny turnips. Some half eaten. So hope that brings them in tonight. Buck only for me right now. Doe hanging and weather due to warm. Perfect Temps right now. Quartering tomorrow. Back straps and mushrooms for dinner tonight.
    Hhmmm won't upload pics..watching a rabbit now. Need to do some rabbit hunting this winter. Brush pile fences they love them.

    I’m out for the day, strong gusts and winds were going every direction.
    Gonna hit a killing tree for half the day tomorrow, if nothing around, wrap it up and head to the other property for a few days.

    Ha! I just realized I grabbed the wrong post to quote...smh. Right person, wrong post. Hope y'all are keeping up.     I wish I could go in on a 200-300 acre farm with a couple guys and manage it for white tails. 3 younger kids causes a hangupswith that though.
