Only saw three yearlings. I swapped my trail camera cards and this is what showed up. I guess my timing this year is off on sitting in the stand and getting days off work. :(

Crazy way to start tonight’s hunt! Walking in slow and quiet I looked to my right and saw this little buck at 50 yards on walking path through the thicket! Somehow I got by him and in my stand and he never even stood up or seen me! #stealthmode

Can I enter 2 doe into the contest? Or does that eliminate my buck if I shoot one

I wasn't able to connect on my rutcation last week. I seen lots of good deer nothing I was looking for in bow range though. I'm still hunting MN and will probably make another trip out to SD after the rifle season out there.

Thank you! It was an awesome day for sure. His grandpa offered to pay to have it mounted as well, which is an added blessing

Only 1 doe is allowed. A second buck can be used as a bonus 50 pt deer, but only 1 doe is allowed

Well back from Kansas, and boy was it a tough hunt. Majority of the larger bucks were on lockdown so had to do quite a bit of hopping around just to lay eyes on one. Did see a 140-150 class eight point, but couldn't get a clear shot. Lots of bucks, but fill the tag. Tag soup for me it is. Last hope is Wisconsin after our gun seasons wrap up in mid-December.

Not with bow but caught up to my main buck in Wisconsin. 13 scorable points, 18.25 wide, and over IMG_2212.JPG IMG_2214.JPG 38 inches of mass.

Happy thanksgiving fellas. Haven’t been out in the woods lately or really checking trail cams much because it’s dark when I leave for work and dark when I get home lol gun season opens up here Monday and I’ll be heading out next weekend trying to fill my buck tag

Nice buck Haa! Happy Thanksgiving to you all! My season is really not right so far. Shotgun weekend I saw a spike buck Friday morning and that was the end for the rest of the weekend. My trail cams are not getting many either. I still have standing beans and corn and I think that is part of my problem and I am not liking it. I hope it changes soon.

Congratulations on that buck. He looks awesome. I’ve been concentrating the last three weeks on an additional public land buck, but it did not come to pass at least yet. I’m going to try to whack a doe sometime over the weekend, and with all this Thanksgiving meal that I’ve had today it should make for some great fat pictures with my doe.

Went out today and not one deer at all all day! To top off the issues lately my knee is telling me it is almost time to get it replaced. It has given out on me a few times this week and giving me the flex. Wife says I should go to the doctor and you all know what my response was! HE HE HE My reply to her was: "I will go to the doctor after deer season" LOL
