Yep! I'm pretty excited. I never realized this friend had that much land. He posted on FB complaining about the deer tearing up his yard trees, so I offered my services.
Looks like Indiana runs $150 for a non-res license and buck tag. 1 hour and 3 mins from my house, and it happens to be the #5 trophy deer county in the state.
What county are you in? I buy the non-resident bundle for $295. You can take 1 buck and 2 doe or 3 doe. You can use the tags during any season.
Only thing that comes to mind is DNR regulates the use of purple spray paint to mean the same thing as posting actual trespassing signs. You can also check in deer online. Ground blinds need visible orange squares on each side of the blind during all firearms seasons.
This amazes me, I thought NY was the strictest and the more I learn they might be the most lax.... I don't have to wear orange at all neither does my blinds and paint stays in the barn. We also don't need posted signs to prosticute .
You only have to wear an orange hat in Indiana. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Didn’t say they were good rules. It’s just what we all have to do at the cost of a few idiots. You know like the “caution this cup is hot and may burn you” on your coffee cup.
Is shooting time in New York actual sunrise? Not 30min before sunrise? I’m watching the hunting public and that’s what they just said. Blows my mind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It is actual... Which isn't as bad as actual sunset. That one kills. 448 climbing down and it's legit full light out. I wish they changed it... That last 30 or first 30 can make a huge difference.
Can’t tell you how many deer I’ve killed in the last 30 minutes of daylight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Shot and hit a buck this morning. Release broke was holding it in my hand, hit real high, basically no blood. Don't think I hit any vitals. Will check after lunch. What a season.
