I kind of lost my “spark” after rifle opener last weekend... Also daylight savings is killing me. I can’t even make it out after work when I work from home. I’m busy this weekend (going to iowa for the Gophers game). The only thing keeping me going is that corn field still standing.

Heading back to the farm this morning to hunt out of the box blind we built. Leaving the river alone today and saving it for gun opener. Promised SIL that I'd take him gun hunting there in the morning.

Hoping for some magic to happen today at the farm! Only get one buck so after the boom sticks come out I usually never bow hunt much after that.

Well fellas gonna be cold as balls but I'll be carrying a bow tomorrow morning (gun opener here) to my best stand after my best two bucks. Property hasn't been hunted or stepped on since October 4th (unless some sob trespasser has). Fingers crossed it could be magical.

Well planned on heading out for a doe this week. But decided to finish processing my buck. 24 lbs of breakfast sausage, 21 lbs of summer sausage, and 10 lbs of brats. O i forgot to tell you guys he had a infection in the one back leg so i lost most my meat.

Well I met that big buck I've posted pictures of in the past, 85 yds he was the whole time. So I decided to sneak out again tomorrow morning then it's back to working chicago. I'll be out again during thanksgiving for another go if nothing happens tomorrow!

Lot of bloodshed happened at the family farm yesterday. Brother took a 130 11 point and six slick heads bit the dust. Was quite the field dressing party out n the pasture. A great memory us seven boys will remember for a life time! Everyone helping each other with field dressing and not one of us with clean hands. The wagon load of deer the processor got looked awesome.

Going back to the farm this afternoon to see if I can cross paths with one of the good bucks that's still running around.
