Moved back up 200+ yards away east. With east winds they should be hitting this field

All kinds of tracks. Should have been here this morning.

Last day of archery (1st) season. Day after Christmas starts 2 ND season. If no buck tonight then orange army in 2 weeks

Another 10 showed up but all night pics ..the two young buck from last nights hunt another blurr buck and the new ten plus mature doe being chased. I know they are on neighbor. ENE wind so I'm leaving now for an upper corner stand. Hoping they come down from that direction...good luck

Just fixed my thumb release. Appears the spring had become offset. Mudshark I think you are right, my fatigue played a big part in my failure last night. And that includes making sure my gear is in top shape. That is something I do all the time but just kept pressing forward with hunting.

    Any word on Tony??

He was busy trying to get his son on deer. He’s checked into the team thread a few times. I suspect he will be back to his murderous ways any day now.

I know the feeling. Been there running on 3 hrs sleep trying to balance fam, hunting, work mids.

Gotta be on your game. To get it done. I was hoping you understand the comment and not think I was criticizing you.

We all need to be rested for the mind to be fit and ready. It was easier when we were in 20-30 to do that but now 40 / 53 me. Differently not now

    Nothing from Tony yet

I understood and sometimes it takes someone else to recognize it and say something for it to change. Im back in the game and gearing up for a good upcoming week in the woods.

    I missed a lot in a week!

Congrats on all the deer down, tried to skim a bit!

Alaska was a freaking blast. Shot a lot of pretty cool ducks. 7 headed to the taxidermist for me.

Should be able to get out quite a bit the next couple weeks until archery closes in iowa for first split.

    Good luck Tony!
