My high school football team was used as the high school football team in the first of the "Scary Movie" spoof series on the mid-90s horror movie genre. We got to meet the cast and crew, directed by the Wayans brothers. One of the guys on the team got kicked off the set for hitting on Shannon Elizabeth. Most of those actors are bunch of washed up D-list celebrities now. Met Chewbacca at Disney World a couple of weeks ago.
When I was stationed at the embassy in Paris, France the guys on duty got a call from Spike Lee's people. They were looking for a place to watch the Yankees vs Red Sox's playoff game (2004 playoff). After some smoothing over with the higher up ppl in charge we convinced them to let him come to our house. He showed up and me and about 5 other guys spent the night shooting the breeze and watching baseball game with Spike and his assistant. The big 'it" celebrity hotel in Paris is right across street from embassy. Other than that we'd run into ppl every once in while while I was overseas but was just like walking down the street kinda thing. Unless you count politicians, was on security detail twice for Condoleezza Rice and once for W. Bush. Randomly run into hunting "celebs" this time of year since they all come here to hunt. Off top of head Terry Drury and separate time one of the Lindsey's. Weirdest one was ran into Chris Brackett at bar one night and hung out little.
