    Hitting the road now. Those leaves should be quiet enough by the time I get to my woods. I'll do LFTS later. Who knows, I might get that"feeling" again. :biggrin:

    thanks for all the congrats! I'm still pumped! i left the best part out. I heard him crash not 50 yards from the shot within seconds. My wife who supports me (most of the time), my brother who got me back into the game, and a good friend who is the reason I'm on the property, and the land owner were all the to help celebrate and retrieve!

    Right before 9am I had a little 7 pt come thru. Maybe 65 inches give or take. 33 yards , I thought about it but I choose to pass. Looking for his big bro / dad / grandpa.

    Me too, but for a 6 hour drive to my spot. I got 9 straight days, the place all to myself, and I'm hitting it hard.
    I'm strictly on giant patrol for the first 7 days or so, no young bucks or doe will be killed (might be a looooong 7 days).
    I may take a doe after that given the chance, if I'm still at it.
