Jeez, had a single horn fork horn and a true fork horn come by this evening. Does and frigging fork horns is all I’ve seen.
Had a great day yesterday, but could not get it done. 10 pt at 14 yds just outside the timber. He was headed in toward me, when a 12 pt come for a challenge. They danced, then the big boy took off back across the field and the 10 pt followed him 5 minutes later. Then an 8pt came out 50 yds to the west and trotted out of range. A 6pt was dogging a doe, they stopped to bed down to my south, but trotted back west. Going back to same stand tomorrow morning. Super cold and a good north wind for this spot. Had a great sit on Sat and saw 11 deer way back in a corner of a public parcel. 2 miles in and difficult to get to. Only clear shot was a fawn with fibromas. Since it's rifle season next weekend, I'm headed back today for a morning sit, but a few trees over. If it's brown and I've got a clear shot...

Well, I had planned on spending the day sitting in a river bottom bedding area. Unfortunately, it poured rain all morning. I got to the parking area around 11 am only to have my wife call. Her car broke down and had to be towed to the shop. Now I am in line to pick up the kids from school. Weather has gotten worse instead of better as was forecasted.
