    Had an opportunity tonight annnnnd I blew it. Gave a doe a nice close shave. All white hair, and zero blood.

    Back at it in the AM.

    Went out this morning. Had buck come through right before daylight. Couldnt tell what he was. And then fork horn about 10 mins after then another or the same around 8. That was it. Continuing to not see very many but with bad weather coming in hopefully gets them moving tomorrow.

    Gun season here now so Ive been taking my oldest Easton he is 9. We saw a 4 pointer this evening he passed him. Taking his little sister Abilene 7 in the morning it will be her first hunt so if anything comes out I’ll let her shoot. Hopefully we have a good morning. I will get back to hunting after gun season. Go luck everyone.

    I'm still stinking up the joint, seen one shooter yesterday.

    Have had does, fawns and yearlings in range but waiting on a buck.

    Likely not to be out again until Tuesday but might try Monday for a 3 hour sit. Not sure it is worth the 2 hour drive.

    Think I have been spoiled getting my shot between the 5th and 8th I get myself discouraged.

    I'll put points up because I need meat in the freezer. I can be selective the first couple weeks of November, after that brown its down :lol:

    @NebMo Hunter

    Do you have 2 pics of your buck with bow in picture? Also need time of kill added with date.

    Getting ready to head out for an all day sit. Probably will take a doe on this property if given the chance as long as she isn't being followed.

    Went out this morning and only saw a small buck. Went in and came back to farm to move a stand. While looking for place to put it bumped a nice buck that might of had a doe locked down. Couldnt tell just saw at least 2 deer take off and one had antlers ha. The buck ended up coming back and bout ran right toward me. He was a nice 8 at least. All had on me was 9mm glock so the 20 yard shot was a no ha. Got the stand hung finally but by then it was late. Coulda sat for hour amd half or so but didn't. Maybe should have with bad weather coming in. Still got 7 days to make something happen tho.

    As of now NebMo's buck will not count for the contest. Hopefully he can get the rack and take the required pics with bow in them so it will count. If not we'll be void a score.

    Think it has to be full video, shot and recovery with bow in lieu of two different photos. If you can add 2 pics with you the rack and bow that should suffice with the other two pics.

    It’s been a long time since I’ve posted. I haven’t been able to hunt much due to my job. However I’m in a tree for a quick hunt after work. I’m about 200yds from my house sitting on the edge of a thick bedding area and some hardwoods. A few does use this spot regularly but the weather sucks.
