Anyone else had a year where it seems like the stars won’t align?

Oh yeah that's my season so far. I got lots of season left, but was hoping I have a buck down by now.

I'm here but not without some drama. Climbed in the stand and something didn't feel right. One of the straps that holds the stand to the tree had come loose. It was just enough for the top to pull away from the tree. I climbed back down to wait until it got light enough to see what I was doing. I'm s safely in the stand now and just had a basket 8 walk by. I can't believe it after all the commotion I made this morning. Weather-wise it s the best morning since I been here. Dead calm and 40s. Thanks to all you vets and good luck to all you killers!

Just saw a lone deer at a distance, I didn’t see a rack though.

Wifes flight was delayed so I had to miss this mornings hunt. So instead of hunting at 38 Degrees I will be hunting at 65゚ this afternoon. Oh well. Time to game plan

Yeah me too, I usually have a mature buck down by now, I’ve had encounters but something has went wrong every time. From running out of shooting light, to wind shifting wrong, them walking by just before light, bumping them out of bed at 40 yards, to being a day late. Lol I think the lord is testing my patience this year since he’s had me tagged out by nov 8 the past 4 years

That's me also. It's a grind, I'm just going to keep going and something is going to brake. Just hope it's not the wife! Lol

I need some action or it's going to be a short sit. I need something to take my mind off going to get breakfast. There's a great little diner about 6 miles away good sausage gravy biscuits with 2 eggs over easy on top of my home fries. Someone kill something to clear my head.

Oh man, 4 kids! I couldn't do that! Lol, I have 2 and that's all I want to handle. I've lost just about all morning hunting. I take care of getting them to school every day. Only time I get to hunt mornings is when both my wife and I are off work. So it's rare. I miss morning hunts. But it will change once they get older.
