Returned home from our annual Oklahoma trip late last night. We ended up going 3-4. We had great weather and bucks were on their feet harassing does. On Thursday evening which was the second day of our hunt, I made a great shot on a dandy 9pt. Also dropped a big female coyote on the trip The whole time I was in Oklahoma my cell cams were going crazy. Couldn’t wait to get back to Ohio and hit the woods. I’ll be catching up with work today and tomorrow and hitting the woods Thursday-Sunday. Weather looks great. Should be exciting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well guys, seen a lot of action over the weekend. Had some small bucks chasing some does, smaller bucks fighting with one another, and saw a nice shooter on Sunday, but never presented a shot... stayed about 50 yards out. After this weekend, hunting will be tough unfortunately for me the next several weeks after that. Will make a hunt or two but will not be staying all weekend long at my camp, just too much going on with work.
Threw a camera up on a whim behind the other halfs house & this guy shows up...seriously?! LOL Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
Been tucked in since 2:00, made a move 2 miles north. My target buck has been on 3 cams on this farm daytime the last 2 days cruising for does. It’s a long shot but we’ll see what happens. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I guess they are not doing a tally on each team as the contest goes on this season? I thought in years past, there was a thread where you could see a updated score by each team? Maybe I am missing it somewhere?
It’s on the first page of the scoring thread, Brad just updates when he can. Juniors points have been added. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Crunchy 22deg morning! Setup on a pinch between two gutters. Killer cruising spot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
A bit chilly here, was about 7° this morning. About 25° now...loving the snow for visibility though! Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
Managed to put down a 142 lb doe this morning. Drew back twice last night on a 160+ that's dogging does around my tree. I couldn't get him to stop and wasnt going to take an unethical shot. I'm back in the tree for a 6 hour sit to close out the day. Sent from my SM-N975U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Sorry haven't been posting much on here, I've been on the LFTS thread and when I'm in the woods it takes forever to load new pages so to go back and forth is tedious. To recap, 2 nights ago I shot a 100ish 8 point that went over on to private land. The guys leasing it were nice enough to help me track but they wanted to do it right then as they had several other leasees arriving that night to hunt the property the next AM and it's a big money lease. It wasn't ideal situation as the shot was back and exited gut and I really wanted/needed to let him go overnight but beggars can't be choosers so I took them up on their offer. Needless to say we bumped him from 3 different beds and eventually lost him. Rut activity was non existent; based on cams it seems like an early rut with lots of daytime pics the last week of October. Might not get to hunt again this season... Looks like I'll be traveling for work December 11 - February so I need to spend time at home with the wife

Congrats bud! Just a heads up, a scorecard with measurements must be uploaded with your entry. Score will not be posted to team score without it. Thanks and nice work!
