Buck just crossed the stream below me and ran up the hill. Bout 80 yds, heard his rack hit branches, but didn't get a good look...

Seen a few bucks cruising, not close though. Had 1 100" 8 pt come up the way I came in. He got 30 yards before he got my wind. I probably would have shot him, not a bad looking buck.

Crazy morning already. Didnt get 50yds away from the truck and we were surrounded by deer. Had one come in while still dark to 10yds, she didnt know what we were and walked away. I could hear other deer so set up with the tripod next to a big tree, of course the next one comes in directly behind us at 10yds, couldn't get him spun around and he probably would have shot my truck. Then a doe being dogged by a small buck came into 40. Smart old doe, didnt like what she saw and went the other way, taking him with her. We are finally in the blind. Deer are everywhere. Gonna let things settle and then start grunting and rattling.

Set up on an oak flat between cut corn and bedding, 21 degrees, calm, crunchy and clear.

Doe bedding on other property, I'm off the line 30-40 yards down wind

I am up. Was getting all my stuff squared away and had a little something come up to 25 yards behind me? I didn’t even my release on yet? So far this is starting off better than yesterday!

Just had this tuff guy come in. He is a regular here and as bad as a problem doe. You don’t want to shoot him but he hangs around so long he’s bound to get your wind. Which just happened. He was 3 yds away from the blind and the wind is swirling like crazy here 7675DE1A-CCC7-494C-AB3A-C59C093FBCDA.png lol.

Just had an encounter with a shooter. He was working his way upwind through the doe bedding. I grunted at him as he was continuing upwind. He stopped stood there for a minute then started coming. He worked his way over and got into range but never gave me a clear shot. He ended up wandering downwind of the bedding area.
I had never seen this buck before.
