Gi to wgitetail hunting section read jealousy thread and the boonerville semi live thread. Probably last 4 pages of each or so.
I’ll be honest, I was in the “don’t know the whole story” camp in that jealousy thread. Obviously I was wrong, that’s crazy. In other news, I’ll be in a tree tomorrow afternoon.
ill be in tree Thursday afternoon too. picked up the arrows, guess the wraps my daughter picked (solid pink) weren't in stock for my diameter arrow so the shop did tiger stripe pink because my daughter had picked tiger stripe pink fletchings, then they did solid pink fletch. actually not that bad
Doesn't look like working tomorrow so might try and get out. If its still pretty windy will probably sit in the bottoms over bean field. If nothing else will be able to get good look at what's in neighbors cut corn field and have idea at what's happening. Been really slow lately in farm but cows have been getting moved around alot and theres better options for food with crops coming out. Hoping now that have stayed out for while and livestock is kinda back to normal will get things rolling. Good luck guys. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Got buddies that shoot pink fletching, actually shows up really decent. I shoot blaze orange but last time picked up some arrows almost went with the blaze pink they had because guy at shop didn't think had the orange wraps but ended up with just enough. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
After a long debate with muself this morning sitting st kitchen table listening to the wind howl I stayed in this morning. Maybe with it be Nov it was a mistake but I haven't had great luck in heavy winds in the past. Pretty much laid now tho so unless it picks up again I'll be heading out this afternoon. at the cabin getting gear together all the sudden the medium bucks are crusing the bigs are to follow. most of the corn is coming out, will be 30 degrees. feels like a night where a deer gets shot
Heading out in a little bit to try and add some points but the deer have to cooperate too. It is 7° out here in West Central Wisconsin....brrrrr Sent from my XT1650 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
will measure and submit for scoring my buck tomorrow, dont hold your breath on a good score, but its still points. he weighed 180 dressed so he isnt tiny, just not the monster we always hope for. he snuck kind of to my right but behind my shoulder, could see him through the brush and honestly thought he was a different deer. had my crossbow this morning and the second he gave a shot i took it, when i watch the tactacam video im shocked because its a rushed shot but in the moment it was slowed way down. he was 1/4 away at id guess 35, put what ended up being a money shot on him, found him after about 50 yards of a blood trail a blind guy could follow simply by slipping in all the blood on the ground. double lung and clipped aortic arch
Congrats again, the first of us to tag out for the contest! You still able to hunt? Going by your name I'd say yes if hunting both states.
