Hopefully for you. I’m not sure if I’m going to make it out now. I’m burned out from today. I was out for almost 9hrs in this cold weather today. Saw 3 bucks 1 shooter. It was between 22 and 11 degrees today. So I’m hoping the killing day is for you tomorrow and Sunday for me.

Hunted hard dark to dark. Only left the stand for one hour break on the ground. Saw a few and at last light, passed on a small 8.

That takes dedication. Didn’t get to go this evening. Seen a small buck chasing a doe in the driveway this evening. Gonna take the boy with me in the evening also gonna take the decoy out should be a fun hunt.

Took my 11 year old daughter hunting this morning. We only saw 5 or 6 does by 10 am (3.5 hours of sitting). Then, right before we were going to leave, we saw an eight point come in with a doe at 75 yds. They bedded down. Over the next 2 hours, we saw 7 or 8 different bucks. 4 of them were 8 pointers. We had one 6 point in range, but my daughter didn't want to shoot him when we had bigger bucks within 60 yards. It was the craziest two hours of bowhunting I can remember and it was awesome to share with my daughter. The only downside was we didn't get to shoot any of the bucks. Rut hunting at its finest!

Kevin what state are you hunting? Sounds like a great day. Have not seen any action like that in NY.

The boy and I sat on the ground tonight on a hillside with the decoy out. We ended up seeing five few of them were about 20 yards. That was rush.

I hunted all day today in the snow and wind, had a 32 degree temp drop, morning was a bust but I moved around 11 to a different prop and saw 3 young bucks and took a doe. First kill in the snow! Congrats on the doe. Seen a huge buck this evening about two miles from the house in the middle of a corn field with a doe.

What’s up Out 4 Bloods. I’ve been active on the live from stand thread so if you’ve already read about my latest escapade then bear with me lol. Long story short I hunted in this extreme cold on a great property in southern Illinois. We started seeing some crazy good action about 7-8am this morn. I was covered up in does while watching bucks in distance. I shot a doe that looked like she was about to blow. Didn’t find her after 5-6hrs of tracking and also lost my quiver full of arrows..... I know what a goon. Haha it’s all good though i have to laugh at it. Either that or take up knitting. I’ll be making a trip to bow shop tomorrow then back at it Friday through Sunday. Hope everyone else is having fun. Sounds like some good action with the kids! That’s what it’s all about
