Posing deer for trophy photos

Just looking at different peoples pictures of deer and how the legs are positioned in them. What is the secret to getting their stiff bodies to do what you want them to. I hate how the rear legs always seem to just stick straight out. I didn’t take pictures of my buck this year until next day so I was struggling to get him looking presentable. Any pointers?

 

If you can do it without spoiling the meat, keep it cold enough, the rigamortis will go away 48-72 hours after death.

I have no idea....reminds me of my two teenage boys, can't get them to do what I want them to do either

Lots of muscle and effort. You can get them bent, it just takes some work.

 

This x100. It takes some serious down force on the legs but even the stiffest can be "broken" back down.
