    I'm not the expert, but I'd probably find the lowest most protected from the wind spot and sit low; low saddle, creek bed, some type of steep ridge they can get below etc.

    This is my situation as well. I can't stand high wind when I'm hunting!!!!!!

    I had a good evening hunt yesterday, seeing a buck chasing a doe and passing on a basket 8pt, so I'll wait a bit and maybe just do an evening hunt tonight. Naaa, I'm leaving now to hunt, the rut is only a brief time each year! I'll be LFTS in about 1 1/2 hours. Hey, at least I know there won't be any bugs!!! :biggrin:

    I think with those winds and at this point during the rut the doe will be in the thickest stuff they can find. The more they get bird dogged by these bucks the deeper they will go.
