Well guys I got it done yesterday morning at a little before 8 o’clock. I had what I suspect was a hot doe in the area and the bucks were on the move all morning. He came by right at 15 yards with his nose to the ground.

Congrats on a fine buck! I blew my shot yesterday at a nice 8 with a split brow. Ranged my spot for 32yds and shot right under him. Ranged it again after the shot and it was 37. I’ll be back out this evening.
Well fellas went in early at 10:30a yesterday on that piece of public I’ve been hunting and a certain spot I’ve been inching around and had perfect wind yesterday so I snuck in and caught off guard. Right at the mouth of the finger a giant and his doe bumped out 40 yards from me. He is prolly 170+. Was expecting them to be further back in. Hopefully I get another try at him. They were just spooked and eased off, didn’t blow Mathews HTR, Sword 5 pin, Truball release, Goldtip XT hunter 300, QAD 125 gr Swept, QAD rest

Got it done yesterday morning at 7:15 Grunted this guy into 20yds. I forgot to score him before going to the taxidermist to get my euro mount done. I’ll get it scored and posted soon.
Thanks guys. I was happy he came in early because I was frozen lol. I hit him a little high but still got both lungs. He still went at least 150-200yds.
Well guys I did my 15 day Illinois hunt and did not score. Saw lots of bucks and had a couple 150” class bucks come in but could not close the deal. I had a great time with family hunting crew. Looking forward already to next year. Sent from my iPad using Bowhunting.com Forums
