I don't think he lost his main job. Pretty sure he works for a truck shipping company. The trail camera stuff was a side job. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
If it’s the one referenced here that would be epic considering the comment about not being able to shoot him due to filling the statewide tag. Also, that same comment leads me to believe that it wasn’t a case of not understanding that a landowner tag couldn’t be used on somebody else’s land.
I’m glad the DNR has social media, if your dumb enough to break laws/cheat ya deserve to get busted, let alone brag about it on social media. What’s the point of hunting and looking over your shoulder. Sucks this is just one of many instances each year that gets caught, let alone ALL the ones that don’t get caught.
It is not hard to get caught if you are filming the crime and posting it for all to see. It's just that most people are smarter than that.
Yall reckon he accidentally did it not knowing on the tag? Trespassing is 1 thing but I know lee lakosky had a tag mishap of his own. Either way fletch oughta get some apologies. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
It is the drop tine buck shared. Honestly, I feel like someone should inform the proper authorities with this.
He moved to Iowa from Indiana. If you look at the comments on the Radix posts and others on the web, the Indiana boys are starting to chime in loudly. According to all accounts there, he has quite a pattern of being morally corrupt. If something looks like a turd, and smells like a turd, it's most likely a turd. You really don't need to taste it. Maybe next time you guys will believe me and not have to get a mouth full of ----. P.S. Please don't take this too seriously. It was meant in jest. I could have just as easily been wrong about the guy, but my gut told me that he was a horn porn chaser at all costs. This time, my gut was right. And, I had a little local insight that most of you were not privy to and some did not want to believe. Remember Jim Jones was a really likeable guy too.
Of course he knew, he even posted about another buck and how he couldn't shoot it because it was on a lease and he was limited to his own farm due to being out of statewide tags. Even if he didn't know (which is a big if - It doesn't take a genius to figure out where you're allowed to use a Landowner tag can be used - we don't have a landowner tag in this state and I was able to figure out that one out without looking it up - Its not like its called a YourBuddiesLand tag or YourHuntingLease tag) when you've already been cited once for poaching you have no excuse for not sitting down and making absolutely sure you know the rules - hell, if you're unsure if something is allowed then just call the dang DNR, they would be happy to clarify whether or not its allowed.
Okay, I guess I am a little slow these days as I am just now realizing where the name for Fletch's 2019-2020 Semi-Sarcastic BS thread came from. I like that thread even more now that I know.
Nope but doesn’t surprise me that he is from here. I hate to admit it but lot of funny business like that goes on in this state and rarely gets caught. There are times where I feel like I’m the only one in the state that follows the rules. He probably learned most of his tricks down here. We have a ton of small deer in this state so unlike a lot of the destination hunting states in the Midwest they can’t charge an arm and a leg for licenses and tags so our DNR is fairly underfunded and there is also a kind of a rules only matter if you get caught culture in a lot of areas in the state. I’ve had people ask me on numerous occasions “why are you going to tad the deer, nobody’s going to find out”, etc. Its particularly bad down in a lot of the eastern counties (I’m not going to call anyone out, but.... [cough, cough] Hyde county [cough, cough]) Where in NC was he?
I’ll be the first to admit I was wrong and you were right, maybe I’m naive. It really sucks when you see someone doing the work and you think the guy plays by the rules and you are just flat out lied to. Lesson learned on my end. Sent from my iPad using Bowhunting.com Forums
