It has been a fun 1st couple days of vacation. Sunday morning I shot a doe and yesterday morning I tagged out on a nice 10 point. He wasn’t what I went into the season expecting to shoot but deer sighting and camera pictures have been awful. He’s the best deer I’ve seen all season so I took the opportunity. My wife is thankful because I’ll be home more to help with the kids. We are still trying to get my buddy on a deer. Switching properties tomorrow to up his odds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You got one bro?!?! Nice, congrats to you! Today is my first day back to work after my pretty uneventful rutcation, and it is BRUTAL! No luck unfortunately and I leave Thursday for a wedding in Jamaica, so a little change of pace from hunt mode to beach mode, I'll be back at it again once I return.
Ya it was a good time. Got to catch up with my my buddy who I had only met once 5 years ago. Also got to spend some good time with my long time friend. Wish I could have shot a bigger buck but having them around to help track and get him out was a blast. 1 more month and I’ll have a gun in hand with another any sex tag in my pocket.
