Bowhunters, need advice on a good, sharp out of the box, fly like a field point , cut on contact broadhead. I know the fly like a fieldpoint depends on a bow thats finely tuned. Im only pulling 53 lbs (rotator cuff)
so I think a cut on contact would give me better penatration. But, not sure which one would be the best head. Appreciate yalls help! Oh, could yall give the prices on em too! Thanks

Magnus broadheads (unreal warranty) are super sharp and fly great. I use the stingers, and think the hornet ( not sure if thats the name but the shorter one) would be as good or better.
Also the qad exodus is a great head. Sharp and fly dead on.
I just really like the fact that if i dent a magnus i can send it in and get one fixed!

All the heads mentioned would be great heads. I've had good luck with the Trophy Taker Terminal TLOC and Slick Trick Viper Tricks flying like field points. I've also been wanting to try the Magnus Black Hornet Serated BH's - those look like a great head! The big thing is just to pick a couple of quality heads and shoot them out of your bow. All BH's have a little different aerodynamic profile so some may fly better than others... For example last time I took out fixed blades and tested my bow/setup- out of 6 heads, 4 flew out to 50 right on, 1 was 4-5 inches off and one almost missed the target completly...

Thanks to all for the advice. I decided on the QAD Exodus. I like the short length, same as a field point think they said. There were like 66 reviews and all were very good. I orderd 2 packs, suppose to be in Friday. Excited to shoot the heads and go huntin !! :tu:

I have never used them, I shoot rage heads and have for over 10 years, but I think those Exodus are quality heads and will do what you want them to do.. with that said, I always test a Muzzy 3 blade 100 gr head to see.. if they fly and hit where my field points do, most anything will.. from that point Im satisfied that my bow is tuned well enough

I would recommend Magnus, but I am biased. I will tell you that Magnus heads are made 100% in the USA with USA labor and materials. They have a no questions asked replacement warranty for life. No keeping your receipt. No sending back the heads. If you damage a head in any way at all, simply take a photo of the head with your phone and email it with your information to Magnus and you will get a new head ... FREE of charge.

Also Magnus heads are the only heads made were EVERY single head is hand tuned so that the tip of the broadhead blade is within 0.003" of the true centerline axis of the broadhead.

I co-designed the Black Hornet, as well as other Magnus products. If you have any questions, please let me know.

I’d second the ViperTrick head and Magnus Stingers. Both are good heads, but Magnus has the best CS in the business.

My son shoots 45 lbs out of his bear Apprentice 2. He is using Wasp Boss SST 100’s. Be shot a buck high in the back at 6 yds in Sunday and it came out just behind the arm pit. Great penetration and blood trail.
