Get that man a coon skin hat and a pair of buckskins---- send him back in time 120 years... Frontiersman Grissly shadow!

Gotta envy you today Brett.. That will be a sweet trip out. Nothing but the sound of the paddle moving water.

Bet you got a big a$$ grin!

I'll be using my climber, so i plan on being about 40-50 yards from his bed. I plan on getting him when he J hooks into the bed with the west wind.

I'll be 20 yards off of his rub line, which is about 40 yards in front of his bed

Yeah I'll have an ok line of sight to his bed. I'll be protected by a hemlock tree, but still have a shooting lane, and visual into his bed, if he makes it that far

Bumped a couple doe getting into my afternoon stand. This is afternoon day 5 of 10 of my deercation. I’ve only seen one shooter buck and that was back in October on my second sit of the season.
Meters running, if I get a chance I better take advantage of it.

Good luck PM shift. Who’s shooting a buck tonight?

Well so far this going as well as a fart I church. Left the house a little later than I wanted to. On the way here I kept smelling this air freshener my wife uses in the house. I thought the smell was just in my nose. So I smell my hoodie and smells like it's directly sprayed on it. So I take that off seems like the smell is on my skin. So needless to say. I'm hunting in a white t shirt under my coat and getting soaked. Cherry on top 2 doe under my stand as I'm walking in. It can only get better.BHOD

I've always wanted to do this, but really have nothing like that here. However a high school classmate of mine was just killed in SE Nebraska doing it. Somehow drowned, found him the next morning.

    So be careful!
