I’m up at my buddies place. It turned into more of a work party which I’m not complaining cause this place is awesome and they are great people and I’m happy to help and am grateful for the opportunity to hunt this place But...... I wish I would have known what I was getting into so I could have brought my tools lol. Nothing like doing electrical work and scrounging for tools to work with. Been on a couple hunts and have seen a ton of deer but no bigguns yet. Have seen a couple younger bucks in distance maybe 120 class. The owner wants us to whack does. There are waaaaayyyy too many. This was this morning.

Whooo!!! Hell yea. I’ve been covered up in actions all morning boys! Had a 140 at 40 but he moved too fast a ton of other 120 bucks cruising. This is what it’s all about!

Yep, he was 1/4 away pretty hard. Entrance was liver and it sounded like it hit offside shoulder. My buddy that was hunting on a ridge across from me in the bowl text me and said it sounded like a gun shot when it hit. I blacked out bc I was so focused on the shot. Shot em at 7, going after him around 10. Should be DOA! My lighted nock was sticking out a couple inches the rest was burried in him.

Yep sorry it ran straight down a hill/boarder line cliff. I quartered it and packed it out, lil over a mile in. I’m beat! I’ll post good pics when I get home.
