It was brought up in the score thread to protest Boonerville's buck entry based on some controversy floating around. Obviously at this point nothing has been proven in the latest possible violation and whether or not it has anything to do with the buck he entered. BUT if so... . All deer entered into this contest must be harvested legally within the laws and regulations of the state or province in which it was harvested. This contest is only for fun so please, don't break the law. Just dropping this off here.
One toke over the line. I hope he takes heed to the lesson here. When I was in 4th grade, I had a Honda shirt that had the Honda logo on the front and on the back it said “losing builds character”. I sucked at racing dirt bikes at the time and never was all that fast, but that t shirt taught me something...when I did win, I didn’t learn anything. When I finished back of the pack, I put in honest work to try to win and still finished mid pack even though I worked harder than everyone else. Moral of the story... it sucks to suck but sometimes you have to suck. Im not good at a lot of stuff but I put in an honest effort. Jordan, you killed a 172” buck and two does but you couldn’t help yourself not to illegally shoot another. I know you put in a lot of work hanging stands, but shooting big bucks isn’t a competition. If it were everybody that wanted to be on top would be shooting 500” farmed bucks. I remember him saying something about Indiana not being a big buck state due to the regulations and that was his reason for moving, but in the last week there was a 160” 8 pt and a 150” 8 point taken...LEGALLY!
Word on the Iowa site is he took a buck with a landowner tag but not on his land. Unconfirmed of course.
Wow! The contest is really heating up. A bunch of teams in the race and we have been pushed way back to 5th. I guess I better get serious about planting my rear in a tree for a while to finally put some points on the board. lol. Great contest so far guys, keep putting them down.
