Oh very nice. Not far from where you're at now then if you still have connections there.

Good Luck Buddy! Just finishing Therapy from a bad automobile accident in August 2018. Made sitting for along periods of time difficult. I know your pain. Get It Done and Have Fun!

I am really starting to get pissed off and discouraged. It does not help that while better it still hurts to sit in a tree. I even caught myself yesterday thinking that I was wasting my time sitting in a tree I could be getting other stuff done.

Don't let this stuff get you down. You do it for a reason. Maybe think of the reason that you enjoy and remember that while your on stand. Your not out there to shoot a buck for us, it's for your enjoyment. I too get down on my self when things aren't working out, but I just take a step back and enjoy the moment I'm in the woods. There will always be work to do and it will get done at some point. The hope and anticipation of a big buck is what drives us to sit on that stand. Find your peace and clear your mind while out there and the buck will come!

My wife's friend shot a buck yesterday afternoon. It was a buck I had on trail camera and her first big buck with a "real" bow not a cross bow. So happy for her was great to hear the story of hunt. Her husband has over a dozen buck heads in the basement and now she gets to add hers. I am going to sit this afternoon, another hunt closer to getting the buck I want.

Good for her! She needs a tag on that one saying "not his". Lol.

Wifes aunt and uncle were over sat. The curent mount in the living room is my wifes. He kept saying to me, you got a nice one. Had to keep reminding him that it was my wifes.

She doesn't hunt every year but when she does, it's all in.

Just do not get it, I had a dozen does with their fawns stroll thru the food plot and not a single buck not even a spike shows up behind them.

Saturday was opening day of muzzle loader season, and already have gotten text pics of a few really good bucks... same story every year... " he was chasing does in the bean field just before dark".... "I shot him 120 yards and he dropped right the field"... not kidding...3 stories since saturday..all the same.. lol, Im not bashing ML hunters, so don't get worked up, Im just saying that every year here it's the same story, bowhunt all season to catch a glimpse of a nice buck and then the light switch comes on Nov 1 and they are all out in the bean fields like they never seen one before...Tom, ****, and Harry are there in their ladder stand that they hung last week right on the edge of the field and BOOM!! It's that easy.. However, I could hunt with a ML too, but I just choose not..has cost me several big bucks over the years..Guys in the club just don't understand why I don't buy one..I said, I killed 2 deer with a ML 20 years ago, Iron sights, Hawken .54 cal no scope, and it just didn't tickle my fancy.. I couldn't fathom shooting one with today's Muzzle Rifle.. to each his own though, they tease me every Saturday..
