Has anyone hunted the Moraine Hills State Park or Volo Bog by McHenry Illinois. I lost my regular spot and am thinking about getting in at one of these areas.
Cool.. both those places are within minutes of me home. Unfortunately I've never had the pleasure though.. for some reason I NEVER get drawn and it really erks me. But I know every square inch of both those locals if you need any help. Ask away.
called in and they said i'm late for the lottery. But i can call back when season weekends get closer for a possible open area. Guess I might have to go buy a climber after all.

I live right there also. I’ve always heard it was a lottery draw to get in. I believe you get assigned a certain area and can’t really move around. The other guys probably know more.
