My rutcation starts on Friday and I don't go back to work until November 12th! Friday's weather looks awesome too in PA.

A doe and fawn came out for 5 minutes 30 minutes before sunset and left... That was it for me. Simply shocked. Only beans left in the area and 30 degrees. Think it’s time to make a move. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Spent the day yesterday taking care of the problem with my backup truck (its about to die on me- 1993 Ford 150 with 180K). I still got issues with my Ram headlights and have it scheduled to go in next Tuesday to the dealership to get the stupid headlight issue resolve. (bad wiring harness) I got the go ahead from the boss woman to get us a new backup truck to replace the old Ford. I don't think she was expecting this! But she likes it. Come winter I bet she will parks her Cadillac and drives it! I got a blue one 2007 and a red one 2014 now.
First rutting behavior spotted tonight. Doe and fawn came out of our woods, fawn had her tail in the air, about 2 minutes later a smaller 6 point came out. Started dogging the doe until they went back into the trees. Couldn't see anything in there but they were in there chasing hard for a good 30 minutes. About 15 minutes later 2 small bucks came out into our beans and were on a mission. Not sure where they were going, but they were definiteley on a mission. It's about to get fun! Time to figure out what to do tomorrow afternoon. West to West North West wind tomorrow afternoon. Move to the northeast corner on the corn field?
Been a challenging last couple days. Just got my climber loaded up and I'll be out starting this afternoon. No idea where I'm sitting but I'll be in a tree very soon like 2ish. Now let the games begin....
Done with work at 330 and I’ll be out to the land. I’m really not good at run and gun but I have to take the stand down and plan to set up on the north end, south of the creek/island since we have a WNW wind today. I hope I can get set up at a decent time. Took me a long time last time I did this. Would like to just go early tomorrow to do it, but I can’t sit on the beans with a NW wind.
