I like to wait on taking a doe until after i cash in a buck. (Hopefully) i guess the more does that are comfortable coming in, the more natural attraction my area has id that makes sense? Really hard not to loose an arrow some times tho! Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
Weather this weekend down here is going to be sucky unfortunately. I'm going to try to get out in the woods for a bit but we shall see. Counting down the days until IL (it's 13 btw)
hah; I am the opposite- I like to take a doe early which fills the freezer, takes the edge off the blood lust and helps me focus on bigger bucks.* To each their own! good luck this weekend team; I have a feeling we put some on the board. *edit - time for that has passed; it's buck only for me until late season now.
My only luxury this year is i have some meat in the freezer yet...getting a little lean though! More day time pics of random buck that showed up last week. Saw him this morning & he went the wrong way. His 2nd was about 5 minutes behind him & followed. They are definitely following the does....drag line time maybe?? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
Nice buck, we had our big guy on camera 3times in daylight. 735 am in my dads field and we didn’t hunt it because wind was wrong. He will be back and not so lucky next time (I hope) Sent from my iPad using Bowhunting.com Forums

got busted by a nice 120-130 buck in MI this weekend...he came in behind me the leaves were wet; never heard him until he was on top of me. He caught me moving a buggered out of there. Other than that I let several does walk as last week of Oct-mid-November is buck only for me.
I ended up hunting Friday afternoon and Saturday. I saw one lone doe at 15 yards Saturday morning. I tried some new spots out climbing, but I just couldn't get comfortable with my game plan. One place had wind swirling and going two different directions so I backed out.... I don't know about you guys, but I hate hunting thick cover and only having a 15-20 yard lane in hopes of they come in on that trail. I've got an area that my brain is absolutely wrapped around right now that I am going to try and get into this weekend. It is rub and scrape city. I think all the activity on our lease is in this one area.... I just need to figure out a way in and hunt it on the right wind. Going to have crazy good weather this weekend so it really should kick things off. Haven't seen anything indicating that they are chasing yet on our lease so hopefully this weekend things head in the right direction.
Saw one of my shooter bucks 3 times this last weekend...all 3 times- no shot! Best is still yet to come! Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
Made a hunt by the house yesterday evening. Saw what I believe was an unidentifiable deer working through the palmetto thicket. First even legitimate saddle hunt and I loved it
Off to Iowa tonight. Get there Saturday afternoon and Start on Sunday morning for eight day hunt. Super excited to see the weather for our hunt. Looks great. Nothing in PA for me yet this season. Will have a week to hunt when I return. Wishing everyone great success and safe hunting.
New set put up last weekend for rifle season. Decided to give it a try this morning Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
