Been a long time since Ive rigged up my canoe and used the trolling motor on it. Like 15 years.

I have a MinnKota Endura 30 trolling motor. The suggestions were a Deep Cycle Marine Battery with at least 110amp (Min Size 27 battery). I would also need a battery charger/conditioner. Help me out with the battery charger/conditioner.

I won't be putting a ton of use into this thing, but would possibly need a quick turnaround for an overnight charge as I'd use the canoe at night then the next morning headed back into the hunting spot.

    Thanks for any help.

Is this something that would work?

Thanks West Bay. Is there anything specific about that type of charger that I need to know about (power needed for type of battery I have....recharge time if I get a cheaper version of the one you listed)? I saw a few of those at the local store this morning.

Make sure they have the different amp levels, on a deep cycle only use the lowest charging level. Walmart one will work.

    Yes that will work.

Also the Everlast group 27 or 29 sold at Walmart is a great battery for the money plus has great warranty and service with a close by store just about anywhere. I’ve been running them on my big boat for years and have had great luck with them.

Thanks Rick. I appreciate all the advice. Felt like I knew what I needed but wanted to talk to guys that knew a lot more than me about this stuff.

I have had a couple of batteries in my boat. I bought a Schauer charger/trickle charger about 40 years ago and it still works. As for batteries, there are only five companies in the USA that make batteries.
