    Yeah I think today is shot. Raining pretty steady all morning and it supposed to gradually get super windy throughout the day.

    Setup was fairly clean. I did hear a deer get up about 20 yards away and walk off as I was about to setup. I can smell deer, so that's great! I haven't been in here in almost a year. I missed the tree I was trying to find by 20 yards. This spot is a 9:00 am spot, usually don't see deer til then.

    I'm on for my 2nd hunt of the year. As expected for the first morning hunt it was a cluster getting on but I made it
    40 minutes til legal. Big scrape w a cam on it 30 yds to my left. Will check it when I get down. Hope it doesn't get to windy...this cottonwood isn't very big and sways like crazy!

    Shoot dang! In the ground blind and ready. Pulled the card over here yesterday and have one shooter coming through frequently. Necessity being the mother of invention/discovery... I forgot my hunting boots but did have my cougar paws, felt bottomed roofing shoes, and i just crept out here like a shadow. Time to put some blood on the ground..     Dead quiet coming in and has been since, except crows. Not a single deer in hay field. Feels a tad eery out here. Overcast with very heavy air.
