Good luck evening shift. Cell cam has been blowing up since 3. They are on their feet and moving ahead of the weather.

Well this dosent look promising. There's a guy building a pole barn about 100yds from me all I can hear is the nail gun. Don't think deer will be coming this way. To late to go anywhere else so going to have to ride it out.

You will be surprised that deer still move when stuff is going on. I've had loggers on my lease doing work not far from my stand one morning, hearing all the backup alarms, cutting etc and ended up seeing deer still that morning.

Dude, I don't leave work until 4:23. I have a 35 minute drive home, and I'm still planning on being in a tree the last hour and a half of daylight here in PA. You got plenty of time to move =)

That’s an amazing deer. Funny, I was going to say that I bet he’s at least 6.
His body is so big it makes his head and his rack look smaller, but he’s a giant. Good luck!

Rained on and off today and this afternoon picking up. So before rut really kicks in and that corn gets cut I decided to hit trails for a clean up again. Took 4 hours today compared to 9 the last time. Most of major leaf drop done now. So quiet walks in this weekend when guys around me start pushing them with noisy walks in.
This also allows me to see whats using the trails. Lots of doe and fawn and a couple of huge tracks from the last time I cleaned.
Best of luck out there tonight guys.. Drop them hard...

I'm out. Light rain. Hopefully something gets out of its bed and comes to food

Well that was a crap show. I'm all set up finally. Got to farm and changed except my buddies dog was down at shop, young lab, so she followed me half way to stand until i finally yelled and kicked dirt at her to go home. Crossed creek to get to stand and bout fell off gate have up to climb over fence when shoestring got caught.

I'd be shocked if anything came around after all that. But I'm here ha.
