Sounds like your coughing hasn’t scared every deer into the next county then. :)

Way to go B that’s a heck of a buck! Accidentally got a shot at one of my hit list last night. I was playing Mr. Mom just glassing a bean field next to my driveway texting some buddies about trail cameras when one of the hit listers walks 10 yards from me! I am not camouflage just sitting in the brush on a chair! I wait for him to walk past and run as fast as I could to the garage grab my bow and head to where I thought he was going. Long story short first time ever I was glad I have a 300 yard driveway because I was able to cut him off settle behind a tree draw and get a shot. Sadly when he got broadside he must have seen me and started running I missed... and he lives.... For now.

Went out this morning and had a button buck that would not put any weight on his right leg and a 3 point. They both kept looking back into the thicket so I pass on taking the button buck since the injury. Nothing came out of the thicket. It was a good morning and I am glad to be back in the stand. I was coughing a little bit this morning but I think for the most part it was not affecting my funnel at the right times. Here is a cool picture from the buck yesterday. I also have a HUGE black deer that walked through. Hope to get a shot at this fella HE HE HE. #FilltheFreezer

Saw 4 doe this set, had one come in pretty close, another 15 yards and I would have shot. But she just
moseyed around at about 50 yards, teasing me :) good sit though

Nice looking deer dawg. The black one would make a cool full body mount lol.

I didn’t deer hunt this weekend. Took the kids out squirrel hunting Saturday. Saw a couple but hard to get a shot with 4 kids plowing through the woods. Lol. Plan on hinting this Saturday evening after I get off work.

Weathers getting warm this week I might stay out of the woods and try to shoot some ducks and geese with my free time. Walleyes are also biting good so I might make my way out on the lake

Sorry guys, here’s some better pics. It’s a 6 pointer, 4x2. It looks like he lost a brow tine along the way somewhere.

I’m processing it myself, never done it before. I’m about wiped out!

    Anyways, here’s a few pics IMG_0580.JPG IMG_0581.JPG IMG_0583.JPG

    Great looking pics.

I find it very rewarding to process my own deer. It’s a lot of work but very satisfying
