Finally saw first deer. About 150 yards out. Just got a glimpse, it was a spike. Duck season starts today and have been shooting all morning

Busted by a doe wiping my nose. She’s blowing all over town. If she comes back it’s game over

Well, at least it was a clean miss. Waited for about a dozen turkeys to clear out.

Back up in the tree again. [IMG]

Went out this morning... muzzleloader season in my and gunshots everywhere... saw three turkeys that skirted me at about 50 yards... wind shifted slightly and my just off wind became dead wrong... oh well. Might be able to get back out tonight but not holding my breath...

Good luck. I retired 10 years ago and find I have less time now than when I was working. Heard the same from other retirees. One guy said he was thinking about going back to work to get some rest!

lol. That group of doe came down the hill under that stand to the gully. Then up over to ridge across from me. Came back down into the gully on my opposite side. Walk DIRECTLY under a stand 43yrds away and went up the hill to neighbors.
Now I have a pick.up truck driving farms and our hedge row and he's sawing trees...crap now I have to see what's going on in our hedge row
