Congrats on all the deer everyone. Fish, don't beat yourself up too bad. You'll kill more deer and this is all for fun. I had a good weekend in Kansas and laid eyes on a giant. I know where he beds since I watched him go in there yesterday morning. Had a spike 6 yards away when I was hunting on the ground on Friday evening. That was pretty cool. Saw the biggest doe I've ever seen...and I'm old! I'd love to get a shot at her. Deer are starting to show up during daylight hours on the Oklahoma lease too. Nothing compared to the Kansas deer but decent deer nonetheless. I'll be headed back up there on the 24th for a few days and hopefully there will be some daytime movement. Getting most of the big deer still in the dark. Good luck fellas.
Great job guys. Y'all crushing it. I'm headed to fort Knox today thru Friday I'll be on ground for most of it one of the areas I'm scouting/hunting has reports of a big ten. So wish me luck.
Back in the stand this morning. I jumped a few on my way here, hard to tell how many because it was dark but sounded like several, so they're up and moving. Alls I need is one to mess up and walk by me and I'll be one step closer to filling my freezer back up! I'm sitting here in my ladder again this morning then I'm gonna head down to the climber next to my food plot for an evening sit. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Well boys I'll make it official as soon I finish deboning but I am POINTED OUT! Got myself a nice fat doe at about 645 this evening so that's my 2 deer for the contest this year. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Haha I got a few more to go. Turning out to be a great year and it feels awesome after putting in a lot of work over the last 3 but especially this year. I only really started deer hunting 3 years ago when my mother in law loaned me an old crossbow. I've been hooked ever since and I've tried to spend as much time as possible learning, seems like it's all I think about! This year I started a serious effort to improve my land and opportunities and so far it's paid out. Really thankful for everyone that's helped me on this journey. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
This week has definitely made up for that doe that got away a couple weeks ago. Still wish I had either missed clean or got her down but all I can do is hope she's still out there healing up. Super blessed to have access to this land and the opportunities it provides. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
I'll be out maybe tomorrow night definitely Sunday morning. Next weekend looks to be shaping up to be a doozy around here. Cold front, N winds and the right tome of year for cruising bucks. Praying I see the big dawg between now and then. What plans do you guys have? Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Got in the stand in Oklahoma at 9 am planning on mid morning movement with the bright moon. Sure enough a doe and fawn came in at 9:40. Never gave me a shot but it confirmed my thoughts on hunting during a bright moon. I’ve had many encounters over the years during the 10 am to 2 pm time frame on a full moon or the few days before and after. Today they showed up a little early.
Good job guys I have been in woods every day not seeing much. I'm still trying to learn Publis land it's been challenging.
Yeah it is a challenge for sure. Try to scout hunt to fresh sign and then set up and not let yourself get overwhelmed by the size of the available land. What kind of ground is it? Hills? Ag? Oaks or lots of pines? Etc. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
