No success from me on the Wisconsin property last night. Pulled cards that have been soaking for 2 months and definitely have some shooters! The pic is fresh and still had all the little shavings on top I'd the leaves. Will be back up there soon to connect on the buck that made this! Until then I'm going to check one of my local stands and see if it's still flooded and stick close to home the rest of this week. 20191014_124908.jpeg

The only decoy advice or experience I can offer is if your kids like to play with one don’t buy one and have it in their view, it becomes theirs. Got mine out once for wife with rifle last year but was a waste of a hunt nothing was near anyway. Had it for I think 4 years but kids liked playing with it instead. I’ll be watching to see what others have to say and hoping to get to try again with it. I’ve got the Mrs October inflatable.

I've never used one so cant officially say, but it's always something I've wanted to try.

Given the set-up I've got for it and the research that I've been doing this is maybe the only stand that I can get away with it so I'm going to try... Just gotta get it out of the attic first. My hunting buddy who lives next door ordered one a few years ago and they sent two! It was just a gift.

Maybe the wife will let me hunt tonight... Then take her out for dinner - after the hunt?! I've got a work dinner tomorrow night and then my outfitter hunt the next 3 nights. Ha! Probably pushing my luck here.

C’mon guys! I haven’t hunted in 4 days and was hoping to live through you! Where all the dead deer be?? I’m counting down the hours now to leave Missouri and I am completely checked out at work, like haven’t touched a tool the 4 hours I’ve been here. Just cleaning up inside my toolbox so it’s nice and neat when I have to come back to hell...I mean work on the 28th

Good luck man - I'm with you! I've been duplicating posts for no reason - Lord knows I wasn't hunting last night... I will be in a tree stand Saturday morning!

Anyone else hunting - give us something to talk about.

I'm in a stand in NJ 30 mph gusts though. Good sign here Plenty of Doe and Buck on camera. We will see if they get on their feet. Major cold front ended this morning. The wind will be calmer and it will be sunny tomorrow. also colder overnights the next two nights. Something is going down this weekend

Hey guys sorry I've been MIA. My schedule is packed between work, school and hunting. Still been getting out as much as possible though. I'm in stand tonight too with the same crazy winds as Vermont. I'm somewhat sheltered by the gusts from the ridge to my right so hopefully they start moving. Ton of fresh buck sign too. Counted over 12 rubs and 3 scrapes in a 50 sq yd area. Lots of fresh dropping and tracks. Hopefully I can make something happen[IMG][IMG]

Just had a little spike come through and stand broadside at 22 yards. He got shot with the camera today. 45 minutes of lite left, let's see what happens [IMG]

Man you do you and shoot what gets you jacked up! I just like to see dead deer I don’t care if it’s a buck, doe, big, small, gay, straight, black, white, purple, tranny, questioning. I think I’ve covered everything so some yuppy doesn’t pop up on here and call me a racist redneck lol.

Good luck out there. I love the spirit. I set my standards by how potential looks, and this year I passed on the doe first sit, and probably won’t let something go again either. A deer to me is better than an unpunched tag. Send some arrows and have fun doing it, look forward to seeing the results

Good luck! I'm heading back out either tomorrow morning before class or right after for an evening sit. I'm usually not one to pass any deer but I've had some close calls with good bucks and really would like to tag one.

I'll be hitting the woods this evening and Saturday evening. These crazy winds have finally subsided to a reasonable rate. I'll check my cam cards on my way in. :tu:
