I put out a couple of rope sets this weekend. Hope to get some good pics and videos of bucks working them.
Bucks are ramping up with rubbing/ scraping here. Hard to get out and set cams with all the standing water.
Pulled my cams at the house today, month long soak. Couple of two and three year old with pointers. Nothing special.
Heading out to New Mexico tomorrow. Looking forward to getting out in the backcountry and seeing some elk.
Yeah, I havent seen anything super so I am backing out and hoping the rut and late season brings out the old guys.
Whats up team!?! I have been MIA, but been super busy with 3 boys and 2 being in football. I have only have been out 3 sits, once on my good piece, and 2 sits with my boys in a double ladder stand on a property that's more convenient for us to hunt, but just not a lot of great bucks on camera (YET). I have never wanted to kill a specific buck so bad in my 18 years of hunting as I do with this 10 pt I have history with. I need any north wind, or a straight west, and we have just had a ton of south winds here in Michigan lately. Even all the way up until next weekend it doesn't look good, but on the upside I have been staying out of there, hes been on camera every couple weeks, and I am hoping to capitalize during the pre rut! It's about to be that time of the year I just love!!! 3 to 4 weeks of straight hunting hard. Here are the latest couple of pics I have of him

My daughter killed her first deer tonight. She has had such a tough time getting a deer in range the past 2 seasons. All paid off tonight.

Well team I made a trip up to Oklahoma last night on public land. I've got a little 8pt to add to the scoreboard. Kinda wish I didn't have to enter the first buck I put an arrow through. But it's done. I've done my part for the team this season though I am quite confident I will have a chance to put some larger bucks on the ground. Once i get a tape on him I'll add it to the scoreboard.
