Cold front moving in...working all night Fri night and taking 2 hrs leave to get off at 5am Sat morning. I want to be in the woods when the temps slip into the 30s for the first time this season..two yrs ago I had a magical morning on a day like this...just didnt do my part and missed an easy shot.

I think at least 2x per year you post a "....and that's why I have a spare release in my pack" post.

I was curious so I looked at last years thread. Definitely missing a couple of regulars, not many though. Pitman and Shane were very active. A couple more doe being killed, not really any bucks. **** will get real, very soon.
Oh and, I'm not a pansy!

Hey guys I’ve been silent since Sunday but I’ve still been following along. I am leaving Saturday for Missouri and wanted to make sure I spent plenty of time with my wife and two boys before I left for a week. I love them with everything I have but I’m definitely ready for a week of hunting with the guys! I’m not fully expecting it but I am really hoping for a repeat of last year on public land. I think I posted the 2 deer we shot but I’ll post again. Saturday morning 3:00am alarms cannot go off soon enough!

I shot the big 8 and my BIL shot the gnarly old warrior.

Good luck to everyone! I will post more when I am down there, I hope to be in a tree Saturday night

Been awhile since I’ve checked in business was booming this week. Back in a tree in MD wind is howling. Which is typically either great or horrible for me.

Good luck Finny! Last night was off the hook so whatever was happening down your way made its way up here. Highlight of my night was dragging a dead deer off the road. If that tells you anything.

I thought I was the only one who uses the built-in bow holder on the sit and climb.

I’m in the Alpha I like to use it while I stand. Typically use the third archery holder.

Back at it this morning! Not as bad of a cluster as yesterday? Dead calm here today after the 15 + mph yesterday. I am going to have to be extremely quiet, which I am not normally! Good luck all!
