Well had another great sit on a piece of public. Worked my way further in closer to the spot I think the big boys are staying. Finally found some solid buck sign just outside of this bedding area on a big scrape freshly worked. It was next to several trails coming out of bedding leading into river bottom. Figured I’d set up on it and try an observation sit. About 6 pm about 80 -100 yards away in bedding heard 2 bigger bucks sparring. Then 30 min later from opposite direction I wasnt expecting a 4 pt came in at 15 yards and worked the scrape 3 times then left. I’m getting closer, been playing the wind and slowly scouting my way in all 3 times and haven’t gotten busted yet

At this point you are probably right.

We are still looking. Still not a drop of blood. I've scanned the entire area with my thermal imager and didn't see anything.

I made a loop around the pond and scanned.

I'd better get back to it or my brother is gonna get ticked.

I hate to keep stomping this place up. After that I had more does and two bucks, a 7 point and a 4 point walk right by me. It's a great spot.
