@MSBK1 I guess Jordan ended his dry spell, hopefully we can do the same! For the rest of y'all Steve and I were on the same team as boonerville last year and none of us pulled the string back. So now that BV has knocked one down.. well here's hoping, lol.

I hadn’t seen that Booner killed one. I’m at the airport in Portland getting ready to head back home. Our weather has improved so I’m hoping to get my first hunt in this weekend.

    Dandy buck he killed!

Wierd as hell thing unfolded daybreak this morning.
Buddy has a bear tag and went sat by a cornfield.
I went back to the soybean field where I killed yesterday.
Seen this Giant from a full mile away.
Called him and told him to get his ass into the woods where mine died. He did and this one walked right up to him.
    Guessing 600#.
    Beast of a bear!

Got pics of a big old mature 8 showing up. Never seen this deer before. He won’t score much but he’s obviously mature. He might catch an arrow if he ever gets around me during one of my rare sits.

Totally dejected here team. I've got quite a few stands up in great spots but they are in spots that now require a long walk through the MUD.
    This rain just keeps coming.
What 2 weeks ago looked like fabulous foodplots are now amost all in standing water.

Headed out in the morning for my first deer hunt of the year. We had a cold front come in today , lows around 30 in the morning . Looks promising!

Its drier than a popcorn fart out here. My plots and what little wheat I did plant is struggling. Hopefully we will get a little rain Tuesday.

Heading out in the morning. Pulled a card this afternoon and it looks like I'm slipping into the stand really early, like 545 and waiting for a 730 sunrise. Acorns are really starting to drop so this cam has a lot of increased activity the last couple of days. 35° the coldest morning here so far.

Also about 35 here this morning. The deer moved a lot last night under the full moon according to the couple cell cams I have out. If I can get my stuff ready and broadheads on my arrows and shooting right I might try a sit tomorrow afternoon. We’ll see.

Rained here all night but letting up now. Gonna clear off and cool down this eve. Got our first frost advisory for the morning. Definitely getting in a stand tonight.

Went out for a 2.5 hour sit this eve.
    Snow/ rain and wind but...
Got a bit chilled but all was good untill a good sized slush ball fell from a branch above me. Landed RIGHT on the back of my neck and down my shirt..
Had maybe 15 minutes left of shooting light but couldn't take it any longer.
    I pussed out and left.
    Seen 1 doe/1 spike buck.

We're missing a couple team members.
    Did we piss them off?

So I was made aware today that the double mainbeam buck was shot on Monday.

Saw plenty of deer this morning and tonight. Hunting again tomorrow and then it's off to New Mexico Thursday for a week and a half.

    I'm thinking of going Tonite?
Checked a cam the other day before all the rain/ snow and got a blurry running pic of what appears to be a biggie.
Only thing is, it a 3/4 mile walk across a muddy field.
It's so bad I can't even get the ATV back there.
