Work during the day...and evenings all booked this week. Hopefully next week. It's driving me crazy...especially with this beautiful weather.

Well, this kinda stinks... I had the perfect spot all set and ready to go for a specific time hunt that would occur in a couple of weeks. Then, I get and accept a job offer that puts me in the PNW. I start in about three weeks, so I have two weeks to go through all my stuff sell what I can, donate what I can't/won't sell which I don't want and pack it all up to head West. Good for career. Bad for hunting.

In my first sit I Had this little 8 come out damn near down wind. The yotes started letting loose and he and a doe in the other field booked it out of there. The next morning I was adjusting my stand and had what I thought was an easy 50 pts at 25 yards broadside. Had no idea it was there until I turned around and sat back down. It Had no idea I was there. Turns out it was a young 10 inch spike. Damn, I was hoping to let the Mathews play some string music!
My uncle and grand father went to our family house in Illinois and checked some cameras here are a few they sent me. I can’t wait to be there the first of November! Hillview Hunt Club
He won’t get extra points for the video but it will take the place of his photos as long as he has the kill and then after footage including himself and his bow. Get zero points if it’s not entered.
