Sota - just watch Garrett Cole pitch tonight and realize that the Yankees - Twins series is about as meaningful as a consolation match in the Pan Am games. Just spend your off season praying that he signs with a NL team and not with the Astros or Yankees.

Watching the news this morning, people do not be foolish, do not get your hopes up.

If Freddie Freeman's elbow is that bad, they need to consider benching him. I know he's still a threat but he may be better off rested. I don't look for the Braves to get past the Cardinals but if they do, I definitely do not see a win against the Dodgers ahead. This team is too inexperienced and their pitching is too inconsistent.

I am livid still this morning so pissed off at the Minnesota Twins, gutless cowards can not win a playoff game.

The fans have to force the Pohlads to spend money or this will never change.

The Pohlads put more money into their stadium by far than the New Jersey carpet bagger Ziggy. They do not have the TV contract like the Yankees have that allow them to simply buy the best player available. The Twins require a quality farm system to draft and develop players. I do not hate the Pohlads for that.

LMAO this is exactly why you got what you deserve. Making excuses for the Pohlads is why you get what you just watched. The amount they spent on tbe stadium doesn't mean ****. How much they spend on their team does. They had a great team but needed pitching and they spent less on the roster this year than last year.

Zack Greinke pitched yesterday, his 2019 salary was higher than the entire Rays starting line up he faced. What franchise is run better? And I do not sound like a viking fan.

NFL has a salary cap, MLB does not.

Lose game 5 NLDS 13-1 at home. Ridiculous. The Braves deserved to go out the way they did.

Dodgers are out too, I do enjoy seeing the big payroll teams get beat.

Just saw a story in the Minneapolis Star Tribune speculating that MLB switched back to an unjuiced ball for the playoffs, and that hurt the Twins. Just stop, it is embarrassing enough to get swept out again just stop with the victim BS.

OK, looking at the teams for now but don't want to make any predictions yet.
I have often asked myself the question- If the players of the 40s-60s had the fitness regimen that player have now, what records would have been set back in those days? Another question- how many calls would have been overturned if they had the challenge/replay setup?

Micky Mantle still has the fastest time to 1st base in MLB history, and he was hung over.

There was a small display of the Negro leagues and players in the Reconciliation Park, Tulsa, OK. Can't remember the name but the guy ran the bases in 12 seconds flat. What was Mantle's time? Curious.
