Well guys, we’re packing up and leaving Wyoming today. Lack of elk, too many miles and some issues at home has wore me out. Should be home by Sunday or Monday. Deer hunting next week. I’m ready to put something on the ground.
I'm on the board! Killed a Sika hind (doe) few minutes ago. Pics later. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Saw 1 nubby on Friday. Got rained out today, but will get a morning sit in tomorrow. Pulled most of the cams and we have some nice bucks running around this year. Hope to see one of them soon. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Well, I was in the stand this morning and rattled in a nice 8 pointer at 36 yds with a branch hiding me and him from each other; needed him at 25-30 on one side or 27 on the other. He stomped and snorted at my headless decoy. Forgot the head when I left I could have shot both his cronies a stub 6 pt and a fork at 5 yds. It was a great behavior sit. He snorted, wheezed, pawed, stomped and locked horns for fun with the fork horn and wrestled for a while. Fun stuff! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I’ll be out again one night this week before the big front this weekend sitting in a pop a blind with my daughter she started crying last Thursday when I left without her she’s only 3 and wants to hunt so bad lol hopefully she keeps this attitude! Don’t anticipate to see much but should be a great memory! This weekend should be good tho! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I posted my pics on the score card thread but in case you didn't see them. I got caught drawing back on another hind (doe) on Saturday evening. 18 yds! Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Haha yup, we affectionately call them swamp goats. Big ones don't get much more than 120 pounds. I killed this one last year and he is a stud. Weighed about 100 pounds live weight. Sent from my Moto Z (2) using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
