Good luck with the track alen. I agree on the tracking dog if legal.

First sit of the year for me. Upper 50s with light breeze in my face. Feels good to be in a tree finally.

Crap, it’s raining, and I got nothing as far as gear.
But, my favorite time is after rain, so I’m in for the evening

On a side note, I did almost have a chance at a doe.

I always still hunt back to the truck when leaving, I've walked up on deer crossing the trail just after the pond dam. This time I quivered my arrow as I cut through some shrubby timber trying to make time to get out of the rain. Nearly busted my ass a few times walking up the 4 wheeler path which is clay was slick as snot about 1/2" deep

Anyhow, 4 feet from the truck I look to my left and there stood a decent sized doe 30 feet away. I stopped, she just stood there quartering to staring at me staring at her. I look away and get an arrow knocked and clip release on the loop. Look back and she is still there, startto pull back as I step forward and turn, not there, see her tail flash about 15yds away heading into the woods.

Got out here around 2pm, pulled cards on the other side of the farm and picked up every tick and chigger that I could.. sitting in the truck, ac running and nothing but my underwear after using a half bottle of D Code spray and a few field wipes to take a whores bath in Hope's of getting these little bastardios off me. Hope the neighbors weren't watching, they got a show if they were.

Reading the first sentence and seeing the top of a pic attached, I was very scared to scroll the page up.

Thank you for not being a Joe

Driving back every single itch or hair being blown by the vent was a damn tick. Luckily none on me though

I do not understand their place in the eco system, same with mosquitos. At least leeches can be medically useful.

Back on stand overlooking my little plot.

I sure wish the wind would do what it's forecast to do.
