Customers are great sometimes. Had some ppl call saying window in basement was leaking. So we went and looked, no cracks and couldn't see where any water at been seeping down wall. Guy says well yea but look at this. So he takes garden hose jams it in corner of window and turns it on full blast. And says see it's leaking.

Didn't make it out this morning either, have some family coming in from out of town and need to run some errands. Gonna try and make it out this afternoon tho. Haveta see if rain holds off. Too early in year to be sitting in rain ha.

Good luck Alen, hope you find him.

    Just getting caught up.

That's a lot of blood for a gut shot. Thinking you got liver or an artery, haven't made it past this post if more details have been told.

    Good luck on the recovery.

Curious, did you look for a blood trail or just grab the arrow and skidaddle? Any hair at impact?

Think I'm going to hit the shower and head out for an afternoon/evening hunt. Never had much luck with evening sits but will give me a chance to check straps and such in the daylight rather than finding out in the dark.

Might be my only sit until November.

Got to meet the neighbor for the first time, big hunter really nice guy, he shot a 9 point this morning he and his brother in law said just call if I am having any trouble tracking, the brother in law is an expert so that’s good, they also said he knows all the land owners around the farm so just call him if it crosses the property line and he will get me permission... feels a lot better with that option!! Currently sitting at a bar watching penn state while the other guys are doing a little mid day hunting, I need something to distract me for another hour

Sounds like you have a lot going in your favor. You’ll probably find him in his first bed 150 yards away

I'm a moron. Getting ready to head to the stand, nock an arrow and forgot to switch my practice arrows out with my broadhead arrows.

    To town I go. Ugh

Just got back to the spot of impact it’s been about 6.5 hours, nice and breezy up on the ridge so I should be able to sneak pretty good, talking it very very slow

We are all here for you Adam!!!!

    BUT.......

Honestly, I'd back out for a few more hours. it takes 8 hours for a deer to die from the gastrosomthingor other from a gut shot, ubless you clipped a major artery
