    Got out of the blind at 9:45 for soccer games and blew out 2 does that were 45 yards from the blind. @%+&#*^@%!!!

    Im done with the am sit. Saw a shed not 30 yds from my stand. Decent 2 yr old and if he made it through winter then would be a good 3 yr old for these parts.

    I am going in about 1pm to scout for hot sign. Not setting up til its smoking hot sign. Getting some coffee and enjoying the sights and sounds of a small town Walmart parking lot while O rest.

    I seen nothing this morning but got my first two framed bucks on camera for the year so that’s exciting. Debating a half mile or more hike with a climber tonight to check a camera that’s been out for a year and sit in some oaks??

    What can we do to help? How far back was the shot? Any blood on ground after you found the arrow? Maybe you hit the intestines.

    Never made it out this morning. Overslept and have a customer that is having an all out meltdown that started blowing up my phone at 7am claiming their roof is leaking, it hasn't rained, at all. Drip pan on the blower unit in the attic. And after the disgusting language they used this morning I gave them something to really cry about, $500 charge added to the bill. Going out this evening! Can't wait, second cold front moving in!

    When the sun topped the tree and started hitting me in the face it was time to get down. Never did see a deer.

    On the east side of my property I've been using my climber in a pine tree because it's the only tree that's in the right spot for the east wind I had. I had to bring the climber in though. The pine tree has a bit of a lean and it has been dripping sap onto my climber platform. Every time I shifted my feet this morning I had to peel them off and it sounded like peeling velcro.

    I'll have to figure out another set up for that spot. There is a nice white oak about 10 yards behind the pine but it makes shots at the far side of the plot impossible. I dunno. I'll figure it out.

    The wind is supposed to shift to the south this afternoon and that'll work for the hickory tree I killed my first doe of the year out of. That tree puts the far side of my small plot at 35 yards. Should work.

    Good luck. We're pulling for ya. That's decent blood for a gut shot. He is going to die from it, just give it time. I've had one that barely bled and I found her. Hope you find him dead in his bed.

    I saw one little fork or tiny 6 right after I got down, he was up wind in moving away from me already so he never spooked.

    Back at camp now, giving myself a whores bath and to tell you guys how serious I am about killing a buck tonight, I'm putting on my camo underwear, putting on my boonie hat and turning my phone off for the rest of the day. You won't hear from me until I got a bloody Arrow or I'm back at camp with a whiskey or 3.

    Good luck. Just go slowwww. Might take 12 hrs to die for a gut shot. The blood on the arrow is promising. Doesn’t look dark enough to be liver. Any idea how far back you hit?
