I'm gonna hustle home and try to get in a tree without any fuzzy tailed animals being the wiser. Weather and wind are about as good as it gets for this particular spot, so I hope they move!
The farm is open for business! Gonna get up and sit for a couple of hours before I get to work on a couple repairs that need done but my real 2019 season is officially underway! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
No luck tonight. Back at it tomorrow eve then off to a public land hunt Saturday. Sent from my SM-G960U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Tomorrow I'm hitting a public land spot in RI., George Washington WMA. I'm going there blind, never been there before. I can hunt Sundays there also.
Broke in my new ladder stand for a couple hours this morning. Now it's time for a little brunch and then I'm headed down to the garage to fix the rhino and get some chores out of the way so I can get back out this evening for a sit. It feels amazing out there today, the current temp is 62° and I'm loving every second of it. Fall at the farm can't be beat! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Didn’t end up going to Kansas but hope to hunt Oklahoma tomorrow evening. Just curious how far everyone has to travel to get to your hunting spots. For me it’s 90 miles to my Oklahoma spot and 8 hours to get to the Kansas spot. I’ll be headed there next week. The special draw hunt I have in Texas in November is about 45 minutes away.
10 minutes to the urban hunt, 30 to the farm. Best 30 minute drive of my life every single time! Packing to head back home is the worst part. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
For me 10 min one place 40 min to public and depending on zone I'm hunting on ft Knox 10 to 45 mins to get there. Sent from my SCOUT 3S using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Welp I feel like a soggy piece of **** this morning. Looked for over 2 hours last night and I've been up since 530 looking this morning. Searched and searched until I started getting turned around in the dark last night, which is a lot of searching because I know that corner pretty well. Went clear to the fence line looking for blood on the wire, nothing. I can't find any blood anywhere other than POI.... checked my bow this morning and it's dead nuts at 30 yards which exactly how far she was. Just feeling defeated as you guys saw the arrow is covered clear around even the nock which also has blood inside the reciever for the light stick, the broadhead has all kinds of brown hair inside where the blades swivel. Perfect broadside shot at 30 yards, bright red covered arrow, blood splatter at POI, no deer...AND to top it off this is the morning I was really looking forward to hunting, it was a crisp 45° when I woke up to go back to searching. I'm praying she makes it but my hopes aren't in the vicinity of high. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Yea not gonna let it keep me down. Worst part was burning out a good evening spot for a couple weeks trampling all over the crunchy ass ground looking for her. Makes me feel extra blessed to have so much land to hunt for sure. I'm back in my new stand this morning looking for redemption. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
