Seems hard to believe nobody dropped one tonight. Somebody's gotta be on the trail...?

It is never getting dropped. If it did, then everyone else would be pulling a Mike. There are too many people around here that know for that to happen.

    What a train wreck.

I need a full sized truck or something.

Only thing going right is I easily found my Steelers watch. Aside from that this season can already kiss my ass

All I can say is, if something dies tomorrow don't get behind me on US36 eastbound. There'll likely be blood spray trailing me.

I had a group of does with fawns in tow and a some younger bucks. I had one old doe with warts or something but she wouldn't get turned broadside before the young bucks started doing their thing and running her off.

What a boneheaded move. Been raining pretty good here last few days since season opened on the 1st. Tomorrow looks great, dropping to 34 tonight. Been getting some extra practice in, got all my gear washed and ready, going through my gear tonight, all set and ready to go.

    Except...

    One thing...

I FORGOT TO BUY MY FREAKING BOW TAGS YESTERDAY!!!

So I guess I'm not going hunting in the morning. I guess I'll clean the garage and get things squared away for fall. Ugh.

    TrExpedition is packed
    Alarm is set for 4am
Heading East, detour to pick up my buck mount from last year, then North to Michigan deer camp. Should have the camper set up by noon and pulling cards and in a tree shortly after.

No 24 hour walmarts? I've bought tags at 4am before here.

Heading out to get in a little earlier. Going to my new spot this year with good buck daylight movement. Feel pretty confident but you know how that works won’t see $hit. Good luck everyone. Weather is supposed to be good today in NY.

So I saw one deer right at last light and it never came close enough to see what kind it was... could barely see it through the bino. Will give my spot a rest for a day then back after it Saturday morning

No sightings for me last night. Weatherman definitely won't be getting a Xmas card. 10-15 out if the NW my ass. Switched to south at about 5 am hour and a half after I got in and didn't have time to move. May try to get out again this weekend. Good luck all, the weather is BEAUTIFUL

Well here I sit....waiting for the side ways rains to stop.....yes I have dry blinds but I'd be soaked getting to them. Just too early in season to be that uncomfortable...it HAS to stop some time.

Out here down wind of bedding, waiting on gray light to figure out what I’m going to do. This is sort of a “scout with an arrow nocked just in case” mission. Different property than last night. Hopefully I find something to set up on for the evening.

I’m in and ready, nice crisp morning. I’m in a thick travel corridor. So glad I put reflectors up last year, I never would have found it.
Got about a half hour till shooting light.
    Good luck!
