This may not be the right spot to put this but I’ve got a sow and 2 cubs hanging out in my hunting spot. Last night my son was in his stand and the sow and 2 cubs came out at 60 yds then cam to within 30 yds and it was getting dark he started making noise to shoe them away but the sow would just come closer to see what the noise was. I ended up taking the 4 wheeler out to get him and even then apparently the didn’t leave til I was within 40-50 yds. I’ve never had to deal with bears before as typically we don’t have them in our just outside the NE metro area. I’m concerned about walking to or from our stands and getting caught between the sow and cubs. How can I get them to move out of the area?

Buy a bear tag, you won't see them again.

With a bear tag, you will probably be restricted to sex, size- no cubs, number taken on the tag. Doubt if you can take all three.

The first pictures I got were in mid April the cubs were the size of a chihuahua now there the size of a boxer. If I was to shoot momma I don’t think they’d make it?
I did get maybe 2-3 more pictures of them over the summer but hadn’t gotten any since Aug so I figured they moved on

No such requirements in Minnesota sounds like the poster is in the non quota area, no drawing, over the counter tag.

If you can’t shoot em, you can only deter them. Best deterrent might be pepper spray.

I thought I heard people in Maine use a fender washer on an arrow to shoot em in the arse in order to move them off baits ?

I think if you could scare them and make sure they associate that fear with people you would be good.
