    58-60 degrees around 4 when I get out there. N/NNW wind 5-10mph.

The brown box is beans, yellow is corn, and gray is sorghum that was planted way late because it was too wet to get corn/beans in. The sorghum is our neighbors property.

All summer long deer have been using the row of trees as a travel route to get to our beans. There are a few oaks along the row of trees. The red line is where the deer have been traveling (there is basically a highway going through the corn the deer take). The slanted red line through the corn is actually at a slope, so when it rained it created a little wash out. The deer have been using this heavily as a natural funnel.

There are 3 or 4 15’ pine trees at the red dot. I plan to get myself on the ground in between those pines and hope to catch them going to the beans. Sounds like an amazing plan in my head... but we will see. Always fun getting up close and personal.

If a doe comes by an arrow will be released.

My plan worked perfect... just the doe came out at 5 yards instead of 15 and immediately busted me.

Fun when they get close but hard to get a shot if they are that close.
    Great game plan though

Nice job bud! I'm heading south now to see what's going on down there. Only days away in illinois til I get to join the party. Like a kid in the candy shop right now all jacked up from sampling everything!

So I checked cameras, got a big boy on video. I had him come in 2 years ago I'll show the difference here shortly. Doubt I'll get a shot at him but if the bowhunting gods put him within 40 he's going down! Here he is in 2017.... 204.JPG 205.JPG

I may have messed up guys... I don't know if the pictures I have will count toward our score. I didn't have my bow when I was tracking (my friend had his), and I didn't get 2 different pictures with my bow in the picture. I have 2 different pictures of me in the same pose (friend just took a couple in a row), do you think that will count?

These are 2 different pictures, just the same pose.

It looks like your arm is a smidge closer to the bow in the 2nd one.

It took me a long time to find a difference between both bow photos but I did. Bam..it will count. Look at the orange thing behind your head. Clearly different in the pics.

83 as a high tomorrow. 50 as a high on Wednesday. I’m going hunting this week even though I told myself I’d give the land at least a week.

Yeah upload all three to the scorecard I'd say and if anyone gives ya guff I'll take care of it. While not the easiest to tell, they're clearly two separate images with slight variations.

Congrats bud!!! We are ON THE BOARD!

Plan right now is to actually hit the treestand Friday here fellas. If winds are good, I'll be on a solid doe spot that is covered in doe right now and ready to let it fly.
