Sorry guys, haven't been a very active teammate lately. WI has been open for a couple weeks and IL opens tomorrow but haven't been able to get out. Some things are more important than deer hunting! My sister went thru 10 hour open heart surgery but ended up having a stroke during surgery. She passed Saturday. Prayers for peace and healing for her family. Thanks guys, God bless. I'll be back Sent from my SM-G950U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

Well, today is the day. If any of you get to go out, I wish you good luck. I won’t get to go until this weekend.
I went yesterday afternoon and tried to sneak up close to a bedding area and ended up busting a nice buck out BUT I know where he is and I will give him some time and go back in after him. He is in a spot that I will have to crawl to to get to him but if I can do it I will shoot him on the ground as soon as he gets up out of his bed. I know its a long shot but it ought to be fun trying it
I will be out friday and saturday afternoon. My son is on fall break next week so we will be hunting tuesday afternoon and wednesday morning then all day friday and saturday. Hopefully some tags will be filled
I sat Wednesday and Thursday, it was very warm and humid, completely sweat out my shirt after walking to my spot and using climber. Didn't see anything but a couple does out of range. I'll be back after cooler weather sets in.
Sorry I haven't been very vocal, I've been following along on the LFTS thread very intently living vicariously through those guys. My season FINALLY opens up tomorrow here in PA and I'll be able to contribute more to the thread!
Went to the lease and checked my cameras. It’s starting to get right! This one below is the most mature deer on camera so far this year.
